6 New Boston Restaurants Opening this Fall

October 22, 2021

As the seasons change, so does Boston’s food scene. Our vibrant neighborhood is full of exceptional culinary hot spots with new additions popping up every month. Whether you prefer a candle-lit dinner or something more casual, we’re confident that you’ll find something new this Fall worth adding to your list. We’ve curated a list of six different brand-new Boston eateries around Brighton that won’t disappoint.

The Speedway

This dynamic marketplace includes much variety, including Tipping Cow, Notch Brewing, and The Koji Club. The best part about The Speedway is that after finishing the delicious meal of your choosing, you can explore their vibrant marketplace for artisan goods.

Bakey

Are you looking to satisfy your sweet tooth? Check out Bakey for your fix of both sweet and savory bread pastries. Bakey co-founder, Uri Scheft, is an internationally renowned Danish-Israeli baker who specializes in dough creations that reflect both European and Israeli baking traditions. This is your reminder to indulge in one of their menu staples, a chocolate cake topped with chocolate and accented with rainbow sprinkles, served fresh daily.

Judy’s Bay

After spending the last several years popping up and serving Asian-inspired barbecue, Judy’s Bay will be opening its first brick and mortar. You can follow along on their journey via social media as they prepare to open their doors sometime this Fall. This new hot spot will be a family-run, cozy restaurant serving up local seafood and drinks.

Bar Enza

Boston is known for its culture and food, and this new spot only confirms that reputation. Bar Enza, a Neo Trattoria, will be opening in the iconic Charles Hotel located in the heart of Harvard Square. This lively Italian eatery will be located just a 15-minute drive away from The Overlook.

PlantPub

PlantPub is 100% plant-based, but you’ll hardly be able to tell with all of their mouth-watering ingredients. Their menu is crafted by renowned Chef, Mary Dumont, a native New Englander, whose desire is to make the world a kinder and more sustainable place. Brand-new to our Boston neighborhood, you can choose to dine-in or pick-up close to home at The Overlook.

Café Sauvage

Interested in trying French cuisine with an international twist? Look no further, Café Sauvage is coming soon to our neighborhood. This cafe-restaurant will offer modern French cuisine and coffee just 15 minutes away from The Overlook. The word “sauvage” translates to “wild” in French, and that has our attention.
